Click to see the entire lineThirteen years ago, while visiting Arles, my husband and I bought a lovely Jacquard tablecloth and napkins, colorfast and easy to clean with Spray-n-Wash.
As it was finally wearing out -- I now wish I had always hung it out to dry and not ever used the drier, but there we are -- I looked around for a replacement. While the original style was no longer available, this Tissues Toselli line from IDreamofFrance looked very promising.
It is absolutely lovely, with a very nice "hand," subtle, wonderful colors (so much more interesting than white linen) and traditional, in-woven designs. Everyone who sees it remarks upon how beautiful it is. I have every expectation of it lasting as long as our last, and longer if I smooth it out while damp and resist the temptation to put it in the drier. Even the napkins are beautiful!
The price is no more than you would pay for something not nearly as nice.
There are many wonderful patterns and colors: do yourself a favor and buy one!
I used to live in Provence, and when my tablecloths from Provence were worn completely out, I found this lovely tablecloth that takes me back "home." Beautiful tablecloth with yellow gold dominance like the sun shining on the stone buildings with olives recalling aperitifs under the sun; it could not be better! Now, I need to find a yellow one with lavender! Fast reliable service! Thank you!
I could not be happier with my "Olives Red Acrylic-Coated Cotton French Style Chair Pad." Obviously, I cannot see it when I am sitting in the chair ... nor can anyone else. But ... when the chair is unoccupied, the colorful pad makes its presence known. Good workmanship and easy cleaning complement the appearance. I compliment I Dream of France ... C'est très beau et très confortable!
The Gold Velveteen Eiffel Tower Ornament is lovely! It is darling, well made, and does not need to be used only as a Christmas ornament -- imagine the possible uses: lovely cabinet key holder, bookmark, Francophile gift.
