The basket of lemons has a small sign that says "Saveur du midi" and can be translated by "Flavor of the South". The colors of this towel reflects the beauty of the sunny region. Love these mitts. When I lived in France, I found the mitts a little odd, but when I came back to the US, I realized they are so much better than floppy cloths! I would stock up when I went over but hadn't found a good source here.These are lovely mitts, good quality, thick, lovely colors (white, rose--lovely pale pink, anemone--pale mauve) and the loop to hang them. The loop doesn't appear in the photo, but I took my chance on ordering-- that's the only suggestion I'd make, include it in the description if not the photo.
