These tablecloths are made of 100% cotton that is coated with a thin layer of acrylicto make them stain resistant or wipe-off and reduce the need for washing. They can still be machine washed and line dried. The coating will not wear off with occasional washing. They are UV resistant and very durable. A More Cheerful Table
Our placemats were a rather dreary solid blue, and starting to look a bit limp, so I was so pleased to find these to go with our simple white dishes with a dark blue rim. They're a nice weight, and resist spills and spots, very easy to wipe off. I see napkins in the future, and some yellow, blue, and white salad bowls to pull it all together. We're very happy with these!
